certifications

At the beginning of 2025, BROKISGLASS (together with Janštejn Glassworks) completed the LCA (Life cycle assessment) certification process. LCA is an analytical comparative method for determining potential environmental impacts across the entire life cycle of products. By focusing on the entire life cycle (the so-called cradle to grave), it is possible to detect even environmental impacts that are not apparent at first glance. LCA certification is the most comprehensive and trusted type of environmental statement because it is based on the Life Cycle Assessment method, verified by a third party and certified by a mandated certifying institution.
An Environmental Product Declaration is a set of measurable information about the impact of a product on the environment throughout its life cycle (e.g. energy and water consumption, waste production, climate change impact, etc.). This information is determined by the LCA method. Thus, the EPD is a detailed proof of the product on its environmental impact. Below is an overview of EPD for Boards and EDP for Mosaic.
